Rockstar Games has officially unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI, offering a comprehensive look at the upcoming title during a Netflix event on August 27. The nearly 30-minute trailer provided glimpses of the main characters, Jason and Lucia, in various mission scenarios, interspersed with cutscenes and character interactions.

Several gameplay enhancements were highlighted, including a system where non-player characters will react to players openly carrying weapons. The trailer also demonstrated updated car-stealing mechanics and confirmed the inclusion of a Red Dead Redemption 2-style honor system. Developers from Rockstar North also shared insights into the game's development during interviews.

Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version is anticipated, though it is not expected to be available at the game's initial launch. Rockstar Games has focused on the single-player experience thus far, with no information yet released regarding a potential online multiplayer mode. Given the significant success of Grand Theft Auto Online with GTA V, it is widely expected that multiplayer will be a key component of Grand Theft Auto VI.
