Morefun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, is preparing Roco Kingdom for a global release. The creature-collecting, open-world game achieved significant success in China following its March launch, attracting 15 million players within its first day. A closed beta test for the international audience is scheduled to commence this October.

Roco Kingdom is set in the continent of Carosia, where players are tasked with collecting creatures called Jinies found across various biomes. Once collected, these Jinies can be trained for battles. Beyond creature collection and combat, the game incorporates elements such as home building and decoration, as well as farming mechanics. Multiplayer features allow players to engage in battles with friends or explore the game world together, with options to ride Jinies or engage in in-game home and farm activities. The developers have stated that the game will not feature pay-to-win elements.

Gamers interested in participating in the closed beta can pre-register by providing an email address. Inviting friends to pre-register may also increase the chances of gaining access. While a specific date for the global launch has not yet been announced, Roco Kingdom is planned for release on Windows PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices, including iOS and Android. Players can currently wishlist the game on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
