Lenore Zann, the longtime voice of Rogue in Marvel's animated series and related projects, has publicly congratulated Inde Navarrette on her casting as the live-action version of the character in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe X-Men reboot. Navarrette's role was officially confirmed at D23 2026.

Zann, known for her portrayal of the mutant since the '90s animated series and her return in X-Men '97, shared a video message expressing her excitement and offering Navarrette her support. "Well, hey there, y'all," Zann said in the video, adopting Rogue's signature Southern accent. "This here is Lenore Zann a.k.a. Rogue of the X-Men, coming to you today from beautiful Dublin, Ireland. I just want to give a shoutout to Inde Navarrette, the actress who was just named to play Rogue in the upcoming Marvel movie of the X-Men."

Zann also expressed her eagerness to meet the new Rogue actress, stating, "I can't wait to meetcha, sugar! I will be coming back to North America in the next month, so I look forward to that day."
