Two entire pallets of Zotac RTX 5090 graphics cards, valued at approximately $495,000, have reportedly gone missing from Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil. The high-end GPUs, which are currently scarce in the market, were shipped by electronics distributor Oderço.
Oderço CEO Oderço Matos stated in an Instagram post that this is an unprecedented situation in the company's 38-year history. He expressed frustration over the lack of answers from airport authorities regarding the disappearance of the merchandise, which is valued at R$2.5 million. Matos indicated that the company is seeking clarification and hopes for the shipment's recovery. "We are bringing this matter to the public because we need answers," he stated, urging those responsible to come forward.
The exact number of graphics cards on the missing pallets is not specified, but the value suggests a substantial quantity. While the distributor has not released specific details such as arrival dates or tracking numbers, the situation has drawn attention due to the high value of the missing components and the unusual circumstances of their disappearance from an international airport. The incident has been compared to a heist, reminiscent of scenarios from the Uncharted video game series. The whereabouts of the valuable graphics cards remain unknown.
