Xbox Game Pass is set to receive its first wave of September titles, with the notable inclusion of RuneScape: Dragonwilds, marking the franchise's first appearance on consoles. This new entry is a co-op survival crafting game, distinct from the long-running MMO, and is set to launch on September 15th.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be available on PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and Game Pass Premium. The game has been in early access since last spring, and its full 1.0 release on Game Pass coincides with its console debut. Player feedback for Dragonwilds in early access has been positive, with Steam reviews marked as "very positive."

Other games joining the service include the competitive co-op platformer SpeedRunners 2, launching September 3rd, and the roguelike deck-builder The Royal Writ, arriving September 10th. Both titles will be accessible on PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate, with The Royal Writ also available on Game Pass Premium. The list also features Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, available from September 8th across various Game Pass tiers.

In addition to new arrivals, several significant titles are scheduled to depart Xbox Game Pass on September 15th. These include Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Cells, and Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, all of which have been popular additions to the service. Commandos: Origins, Cricket 24, Frostpunk 2, Mullet Madjack, Spiritfarer, Superliminal, and Train Sim World 5 are also among the games leaving Game Pass.

The full list of September additions includes Shelldiver (September 1st), SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed (September 3rd), Dice a Million (September 4th), Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (September 8th), The Royal Writ (September 10th), Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage (September 10th), and RuneScape: Dragonwilds (September 15th).
