RuneScape: Dragonwilds, the first console iteration of Jagex's long-running medieval MMORPG series, is set to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass next month, the developer announced. The game has already sold over one million copies during its early access period.

Players will explore the uncharted continent of Ashenfall, either solo or in teams of four, on a quest to uncover the source of a magical surge. The game emphasizes exploration, crafting, and survival within a magic-rich environment. Players can learn powerful spells for combat and utility, collect resources, and craft gear to aid their journey. The ultimate goal involves confronting the Dragon Queen.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds will release its 1.0 version on September 15. This launch will include the new Scorned Wilderness update and all content from the upcoming Umbral Sands expansion. As previously confirmed, the game will also be a day one release on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.

The title will be available on PC via Steam, the Jagex Launcher, and the Epic Games Store. Console releases include Xbox Series X and S, and PlayStation 5. A Digital Standard Edition is also planned for the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same date. Physical Standard and Deluxe Editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are slated for Q4 2026.
