Season 1 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone is scheduled to arrive on January 8, delivering a midseason refresh that expands the arsenal, adds new multiplayer maps, and introduces a crossover with the Fallout TV series. Across platforms, updates typically go live at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST.
Two new weapons join the lineup: the Hawker HX sniper rifle and the Sturmwolf 45 SMG. The Hawker HX is a renamed Ballista from Black Ops 2; it remains bolt-action with fast handling and mobility. The Sturmwolf 45 is a renamed variant of the UMP45; it fires in full-auto and is described as highly accurate and easy to use. Both are unlocked for free as part of the midseason content. The update also reintroduces a suite of Black Ops 6 loadout equipment and scorestreaks, including the Shock Charge, Impact Grenade, Thermal Grenade, and Tactical Insertion, as well as BO6-era scorestreaks such as Archangel Launcher, Combat Bow, Death Machine, Dreadnought, Grim Reaper, SAM Turret, Strategic Bomber, and War Machine.
On the multiplayer front, Season 1 Reloaded adds three maps to the rotation: Yakei, Meltdown, and Fringe. Yakei is a brand-new small map designed for 6v6 and 2v2 modes and is set on the neon-lit rooftops of a Japanese city. Meltdown and Fringe return from earlier Black Ops titles. In Zombies, the Astra Malorum map arrives, while the Zarya Cosmodrome location from Ashes of the Damned becomes a Survival map. The Astra Malorum map also gains a Directed mode to assist players with its main story quest.
Endgame content expands with two new world events. Activision has confirmed the Wraith Wing world event, which adds a powerful VTOL Guild aircraft for players to take down. A second event is teased but not fully disclosed, described as something that will test players' skills.
Warzone players will also encounter a teased mystery for Season 1 Reloaded. The publisher vaguely revealed that anomalies would start appearing periodically throughout certain locations, though it did not specify a map or whether these changes would affect all Warzone modes.
Activision notes that midseason updates typically include new events, challenges, bug fixes, and weapon balancing across all modes, and Season 1 Reloaded appears to continue that pattern with ongoing tuning after launch.
The Fallout crossover has also been teased, with operator skins for Lucy, The Ghoul, and Maximus tied to the Amazon Prime Video TV show. It remains unclear whether these Fallout skins will arrive through an event pass or as standalone shop bundles. The crossover reflects Activision's strategy of leveraging high-profile IP collaborations alongside in-game events.
Season 1 Reloaded is scheduled to go live on January 8 across platforms, with the usual update times of 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST.
