Sebastian Stan has seemingly confirmed his involvement as Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, in Matt Reeves' forthcoming film, The Batman: Part 2. While rumors have linked the actor to the role previously, both Stan and director Matt Reeves had maintained an ambiguous stance.

In a recent interview with the French outlet Le Journal du Dimanche, Stan was quoted as saying, "I can't say anything about The Batman: Part 2, where I play Harvey Dent." This statement appears to be a more direct confirmation than his previous comments, such as in May when he alluded to playing "many roles in this one," which fans interpreted as a nod to Dent's dual personality.

Stan's remarks came in response to a broader question about his involvement in superhero projects, noting the high level of secrecy surrounding productions by both DC and Marvel. He is also set to reprise his role as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Doomsday, though he stated he had "absolutely no idea" about that film's specifics, as Marvel withheld details even from the cast.

"The producers didn't want us to read it in its entirety, to avoid journalists asking us questions," Stan explained regarding the unconventional filming process for Avengers: Doomsday, where actors worked from scattered scenes without a full script. "It's a different way of working, continuous, constantly evolving."

The Batman: Part 2 is currently filming in the U.K. Recent social media activity has shown scenes being shot with Robert Pattinson's stunt double and GCPD squad cars in Liverpool's Birkenhead Tunnel, and the film's new logo has also been revealed through set photos. The Batmobile was recently spotted in Glasgow, Scotland, which is once again doubling as Gotham City, having also served as New York in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Following a recent schedule adjustment, The Batman: Part 2 is slated to be released in theaters on February 18, 2028. In other Marvel news, Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, with a potential appearance for Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027, should the character survive.
