Sebastian Stan has reportedly been misquoted regarding his involvement in Matt Reeves' upcoming film, The Batman: Part 2. Initial reports suggested the actor had confirmed he would portray the iconic DC villain Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face. However, sources speaking with TheWrap now indicate that this statement was inaccurate.

The original article from French outlet Le Journal du Dimanche has since been updated and no longer contains any remarks from Stan about his specific role in the film. Previously, Stan had offered ambiguous comments about his involvement, stating he would play "many roles in this one," which fans interpreted as a nod to Dent's duality.

The Batman: Part 2 is currently filming in the United Kingdom. Recent social media activity has shown footage of a sequence featuring Robert Pattinson's stunt double alongside police vehicles in Liverpool, and set photos have revealed the film's updated logo. The Batmobile has also been spotted in Glasgow, Scotland, which is once again doubling as Gotham City.

The film is scheduled for release on February 18, 2028, following a recent delay. Sebastian Stan is also set to reprise his role as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Doomsday, slated for release on December 18, 2026, and potentially Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027.
