PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will soon see seven games removed from the Game Catalog. While a specific removal date has not been announced, players have a limited window to experience these titles.

Among the departing games is the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team. Released in 2024, this reimagining of a survival-horror classic features updated visuals, modernized gameplay, and a more expansive explorable world with new locations and puzzles. The game's release has been seen as part of a resurgence for the Silent Hill franchise, with other upcoming titles like Silent Hill: Townfall and a remake of the original Silent Hill game also in development.

Another significant departure is Yakuza: Like a Dragon. This entry marked a shift for the series, introducing new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga and transitioning the gameplay from real-time brawling to turn-based RPG combat. Despite the gameplay change, the game was praised for its heartfelt story, humor, and memorable characters. Fans of the series have since been treated to a sequel, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and various spin-offs and remakes.
