Loftia, the solarpunk MMO life simulator, is set to launch into early access on November 3, 2026. The announcement was made alongside a new trailer revealed during the PC Gaming Show.
Developed over the past four years, Loftia offers players a cheerful and sustainable take on the future, contrasting with the often dystopian settings found in other games. Players will each manage their own floating island, focusing on eco-friendly decoration and power sources. The game emphasizes community and collaborative gameplay, steering away from combat in favor of puzzles and platforming challenges during adventures.
“We wanted a relaxing online world we could escape to with our friends—a third space with a welcoming community, things to do, and a home we could keep on coming back to,” said Michael Su, co-founder and studio director of Qloud Games.
The recently released trailer showcases extensive customization options for avatars, pets, and player homes. It also hints at an impending world-ending event, which manifests as cracks appearing in the sky islands. Saving the community from this threat will be a central driving force for players.
Players can wishlist Loftia on Steam now. The game aims to provide a welcoming environment for players to build and return to.
