Sony has unveiled a new limited-edition DualSense controller in collaboration with Blackpink member and actor Lisa. This special edition incorporates personal design elements meaningful to the performer, differentiating it from previous themed controllers for titles like Marvel's Wolverine, Marathon, and Grand Theft Auto VI.
The Lisa Limited Edition DualSense controller features an illustration of bangs and eyes on the touchpad, referencing Lisa's signature look. Additionally, the design includes stars and "LL" lettering, all set against the controller's Chroma Pearl colorway, which is noted as her personal favorite.
Like other limited-run DualSense controllers, the Lisa edition will be priced at $85, with potential for higher prices due to scalpers. Preorders are set to begin on October 2 via the PlayStation Direct store, with a wider retail release scheduled for October 30.
In addition to the controller, a collection of PlayStation merchandise featuring Lisa's designs will also be available. This includes T-shirts, hoodies, caps, and keychains adorned with her artwork. This collaboration is part of Sony's ongoing PlayStation Playmakers program, which has previously featured celebrity partnerships with individuals such as comedian King Bach, NFL player Ja'Marr Chase, and NBA legend LeBron James.
This release comes at a time when Sony has faced public scrutiny over various decisions in 2026, including PS5 console price increases, the planned discontinuation of game discs by 2028, the closure of Bluepoint studio, and the cancellation of funding for Hideo Kojima's project Physint. These events have reportedly caused dissatisfaction among many PlayStation fans.
