South Park Reveals Grand Theft Auto 6's Most Disgusting Feature

The latest episode of South Park has provided a new look at Grand Theft Auto 6, focusing on one of the game's more unusual and unpleasant features: the ability to interact with dog feces.

The running gag in the current South Park season suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6 will solve societal issues. This week's episode continued the joke by showcasing the game's dog poop mechanic. The segment revealed dedicated animations for dogs defecating, followed by their owners collecting the droppings. Players can then pick up this collected poop and use it as an improvised projectile weapon against NPCs, with the "explosive" mess impacting on impact.

This is not the first time South Park has referenced video games. The show gained significant recognition for its 2006 episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft," which centered on Blizzard's World of Warcraft. That episode famously incorporated extensive machinima footage created using in-game assets from the MMO. More recent references include nods to Nintendo and a two-episode arc in 2019 that heavily drew from Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2.

In parallel, Grand Theft Auto 6 is already setting records prior to its release. Rockstar has confirmed the game will require a substantial download, with players given a week to complete it. The entertainment industry is also anticipating the game's launch, with Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence hoping audiences will find time to watch his film, which is scheduled to release the day after GTA 6. EA founder Bing Gordon has suggested the game's success could hinge on players choosing it over other entertainment options, such as watching football during the Thanksgiving weekend, which falls shortly after the game's debut.
