A Spider-Man cosplayer was arrested over the weekend in Minneapolis after engaging in a physical altercation with Jake Lang, a participant in events tied to the January 6th Capitol riot, during a protest. Videos of the incident show the cosplayer jumping onto a moving truck that was reportedly driving through a crowd of counter-protesters.

The confrontation occurred as the truck, carrying Lang and displaying a sign with racial slurs, navigated through demonstrators. The Spider-Man cosplayer attempted to remove the sign from Lang, leading to a struggle. Photographer Chris Juhn captured an image of the scuffle that has drawn comparisons to comic book art.

Lang and his associates were reportedly in Minneapolis to support Shiloh Hendrix, who gained notoriety for using racial slurs at a child. Hendrix has since raised significant funds and faced legal proceedings, resulting in a fine for disorderly conduct. Lang had organized a march where Hendrix was a featured speaker.

Both Lang and the Spider-Man cosplayer were taken into custody by police. The cosplayer stated that he was not read his rights and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his legal defense.
