The 2002 GameCube title Star Fox Adventures is available today for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. This addition continues Nintendo's recent efforts to bring the Star Fox franchise to a wider audience.
Star Fox Adventures holds a unique place in the series' history. Development originally began on a game unrelated to Star Fox, and it was later repurposed. This origin is reportedly evident in the final product, contributing to its distinctive appeal among fans.
In addition to the arrival of Star Fox Adventures, the remake of Star Fox 64, released earlier this year, is scheduled to receive an update on September 29. This update will introduce new local split-screen multiplayer options, along with three additional multiplayer stages, expanding the game's competitive offerings.
