Amazon Prime members can now play Star Wars: Galactic Racers for free through the Amazon Luna game streaming service. The title was added to Luna's library on October 6, offering subscribers access without extra charges.
Star Wars: Galactic Racers is the first podracing game to be released in over two decades. It features a variety of customizable vehicles from the Star Wars universe, competing in diverse racing environments. The game includes a roguelite-inspired campaign where players can collect all available vehicles.
IGN’s review described the game as a "fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer." While noting that the game can become repetitive due to frequent revisits of a limited selection of planets, the review highlighted its success in revitalizing a dormant corner of the Star Wars universe.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna. For those without a Prime membership, Star Wars: Galactic Racers can be purchased separately. PC players can find a discount on a Steam code at Fanatical by using the promo code FANATICAL15 at checkout.
The addition of Star Wars: Galactic Racers coincides with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale, which runs through October 7. Prime members can access deals on a wide range of products, including video games, LEGO sets, Apple products, and 4K Blu-rays.
