Developer Bit Reactor has offered new details on the upcoming Star Wars Zero Company, addressing community questions in a recent Discord Q&A. The game will feature significant customization for Clone Troopers, allowing players to outfit their entire squad with the iconic armor.

All operators in Star Wars Zero Company will have access to Clone armor cosmetics from the outset. Players will unlock specific Clone Trooper operator characters later in the story, enabling the formation of a full Clone squad, according to CEO and creative director Greg Foertsch. A standout feature confirmed by the development team is that Clone helmets will include voice modulation effects for the characters, adding an immersive layer to squad customization.

Lead designer James Brawley indicated that a wide variety of paint jobs and patterns will be available for helmets and armor, aiming to satisfy fans' desires for diverse Clone Trooper aesthetics. "We think you’ll be very happy with the selection," Brawley stated, acknowledging the popular armor variations seen across Star Wars media.

However, a specific piece of armor, the Phase 1 ARC Trooper armor, will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of the game as part of the 'Grand Army of the Republic' cosmetic pack. This means players wishing to don that particular style will need to purchase the premium version. On a more positive note, the developers have confirmed that there are no plans for monetization or microtransactions in Star Wars Zero Company. Any customization options, outside of the Deluxe Edition's exclusive content, will be earnable through gameplay. The game will also not be a full-priced title, the developer confirmed.
