Star Wars Zero Company Modders Add an Endgame Players Have Been Craving

A significant fan-made mod for Star Wars Zero Company, dubbed the Aftermath DLC, has introduced a substantial endgame experience that many players felt the game was missing. The mod, created by user Cafiso, extends the game's playtime by an additional 1,000 in-game days after the main story concludes.

The Aftermath Mod's Content

The Aftermath mod goes beyond simply increasing the available game time. It introduces new enemy encounters and layers of progression designed to keep players engaged. Notable additions include boss fights featuring characters such as Boba Fett, Palpatine, Gar Saxon, Rook Kast, Clone Commander, Purge Trooper, and Imperial Jet Trooper Commander. Furthermore, fan-favorite characters like Rex, Anakin, Cody, Baker, and Captain Crovo have been made recruitable.

Progression systems have also been expanded. The Den Level cap has been raised to 15, character bonds can now reach +12, and focus trees feature 11 tiers. The mod also includes optional systems, "Aftermath Threat" and "Aftermath Fatigue." The former slightly boosts enemy stats after each encounter, while the latter imposes debuffs on operators who are used in consecutive missions without rest.

Demand for More Content

While the mod provides a robust endgame, official post-launch support for Star Wars Zero Company has been minimal. Following the furlough of several Bit Reactor developers prior to the game's launch, hopes for extensive DLC or endgame updates have dwindled. Mods like Aftermath demonstrate a clear player demand for more content in the Zero Company universe.

Star Wars Zero Company is available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. The Aftermath DLC mod is exclusive to the PC version of the game.
