TikTok streamer Jay Lucarelli has successfully pitched a perfect game in EA's classic baseball simulator, MVP Baseball 2005, on his 1,993rd attempt. The streamer dedicated nearly a week to achieving this rare feat in the game, which was the last MLB title developed by EA Sports.

The final out was secured on a line-drive comebacker to the pitcher, Roy Oswalt, against pinch-hitter Doug Mirabelli. Lucarelli expressed his relief and excitement after finally completing the no-hitter, which he had pursued relentlessly.

Lucarelli's accomplishment garnered attention from the sports world, including a comment from the real-life Roy Oswalt, who humorously remarked, "I only wish I could have pitched 2,000 games in MLB. Good luck!" MLB itself also acknowledged the streamer's dedication.

MVP Baseball 2005 continues to be held in high regard by many baseball game enthusiasts, with IGN having awarded it a 9.2 out of 10 at the time of its release. The game maintains a dedicated PC community that actively works on updating it almost two decades after its initial launch.
