The upcoming Street Fighter movie saw its Chun-Li stunt double outfitted with enhanced butt pads to accurately reflect the physique of actor Callina Liang, who underwent extensive training to embody the iconic character. Director Kitao Sakurai recounted the necessity of these pads during filming, noting that they were required for the stunt double to match Liang's body shape after she developed the character's signature powerful legs.

Liang detailed her fitness journey in an interview, explaining that her preparation involved two hours of daily martial arts training, including Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Wushu, alongside a high-protein diet. This regimen led to substantial growth in her thighs, increasing their circumference by approximately six-and-a-half centimeters each. "Chun-Li is all kicks," Liang stated, emphasizing the focus on leg strength. The actor also described the intensity of her diet, which included consuming 12 eggs a day and frequent meals, pushing her to the verge of sickness.

Beyond physical training, Liang demonstrated her dedication by studying Chun-Li's moves extensively, even downloading multiple Street Fighter games onto her PlayStation 5 to analyze her character's attacks. The Street Fighter movie is slated for release on October 16.
