Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother, the first console game adaptation of the popular franchise. The title is set to release on March 18, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam. Pre-orders are available now.
The game features a brand-new story conceptualized by series author Hyuganatsu. Players will step into the role of apothecary Maomao as she investigates two chains of strange phenomena and conspiracies that are causing chaos throughout the rear palace, the red-light district, and the streets of the capital. Maomao must utilize her intelligence and knowledge to solve these mysteries and uncover the truth behind the "False Imperial Brother" before it destabilizes the imperial court.
