The Art of The Mandalorian and Grogu Book Offers Exclusive Preview

Star Wars fans can get an exclusive look at The Art of The Mandalorian and Grogu, a new hardcover book from Abrams Books that explores the creation of the latest film in the franchise. The book is set to release on November 3.

The Art of The Mandalorian and Grogu, written by Phil Szostak, features interviews with cast and crew members, alongside hundreds of concept art pieces and designs. According to the official description, the book offers fans an "exclusive look at the art created for the newest Star Wars film and the stories behind its characters, locations, and vehicles."

IGN has revealed select pages from the book, highlighting concept art for characters such as the bounty hunter Embo and the Anzellans. The film itself, directed by Jon Favreau and cowritten by Favreau and Dave Filoni, follows Din Djarin and Grogu as they embark on new adventures following the fall of the Galactic Empire. The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White.

While the art book celebrates the film's production, IGN's review of The Mandalorian and Grogu noted that the movie "offers another two hours and change of watching Din Djarin and his adorable green son fly to some planets and clear out rooms of monsters or gangsters every 20 minutes or so." The review also stated that the film "is not the way," lacking thrills and significant character development.

Fans can preorder a copy of The Art of The Mandalorian and Grogu on Amazon.
