Rubeki, the developer behind the horror title Lorn's Lure, has unveiled its next game, The Hollowing. This new project is also set within the same creepy universe and shifts the gameplay to a first-person horror flight simulation.

The world premiere trailer for The Hollowing was shown at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026. The game features a distinctive PSX aesthetic, a visual style often favored for horror titles. In The Hollowing, players pilot an aircraft through the dense fog of a vast megastructure. The objective is to maintain and repair communication towers, ensuring settlements within the structure can stay connected.

The trailer offers glimpses into the fate of the previous pilot who occupied the role. This pilot reportedly experienced interference on the radio and suffered visions due to "spore toxicity," suggesting the fog itself may pose a significant threat.

It becomes apparent by the trailer's conclusion that the current pilot, named Phil, is facing similar challenges. The Hollowing does not yet have a release date, but it is available to wishlist on Steam. The game was revealed less than two years after Rubeki's previous title, Lorn's Lure, was released.
