Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is expanding its roster and narrative with the upcoming Mayhem Collection DLC, which will feature the Joker and Harley Quinn as central characters. This new content is set to launch on September 18, coinciding with a Nintendo Switch 2 re-release of the game.
A new trailer revealed during Gamescom showcases a story mission centered around the iconic villain couple. The narrative follows the Joker and Harley Quinn meeting in Arkham therapy sessions before orchestrating a breakout, ultimately pitting them against Amanda Waller and other imprisoned Batman antagonists. In gameplay, the Joker will feature an agile combat style utilizing a Paintball Pelter and Boxing Glove, while Harley Quinn will employ her signature hammer and the ability to summon her hyenas, Bud and Lou.
The Mayhem Collection will also introduce a new vehicle-centric mode called Mayhem Mode. In this mode, players will engage in time trials as the Joker and Harley race through Gotham, with Batman and the Suicide Squad in pursuit.
Additionally, the DLC brings a variety of new cosmetic items. The Sinister Pack includes several new outfits for existing characters, drawing inspiration from various Batman comic storylines and DC Multiverse action figures. These include Batman in The Batman Who Laughs outfit, Robin in the Robin King outfit, Nightwing and Batgirl in Joker-themed costumes, Jim Gordon and Catwoman in Joker outfits, and Talia al Ghul in a Joker (Earth-37) outfit. New vehicle customization options, such as the Jokermobile from the Arkham Trilogy, and Batcave decorations including the Helmet of The Merciless and a Joker Fish Aquarium, are also part of the collection.
The Mayhem Collection DLC will be provided at no additional cost to owners of the Deluxe Edition of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
