Fortnite is set to welcome back The Simpsons characters and elements from Springfield for a new crossover event, Epic Games announced. The "Reloaded" event, which will fully reveal its contents on July 29, follows the immense success of the original Fortnite x The Simpsons collaboration.
That initial event, which took place in November 2025, saw significant player engagement, contributing to a surge in Fortnite's player numbers. During the original crossover, the game's map was transformed into an explorable rendition of Springfield, a novel approach that encouraged players to experience the game. The collaboration also generated considerable online discussion and memes, particularly among younger players discovering the long-running animated series.
In addition to the in-game event, Epic Games confirmed that The Simpsons intellectual property is being integrated into the Fortnite UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) program. This initiative will allow players to create "fully authentic" games inspired by the iconic show. The integration is expected later this year, with the potential for fan-made games reminiscent of titles like "Hit & Run" to emerge.
