CD Projekt and DLC developer Fool's Theory will offer a behind-closed-doors demonstration of The Witcher 3's upcoming 'Songs of the Past' expansion at PAX Australia. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, and will be followed by a panel discussion.
The 'Songs of the Past' add-on, slated for release next year, is set to introduce a new region to explore and delve deeper into the character of Dandelion. This expansion was previously showcased at Gamescom, where it received a positive reception.
PAX Australia will take place from October 9–11 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The full event schedule, which includes various other gaming-related panels and activities, is available on the PAX website. Other notable events include a discussion with World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale and a "hot-sauce interview" with Final Fantasy 14 veterans Koji Fox and Toshio 'Foxclon' Murouchi.
The convention will also feature content focused on tabletop gaming. Jasmine 'ThatBronzeGirl' Bhullar, a Dungeon Master for official Dungeons & Dragons liveplay, will discuss storytelling, while Ify Nwadiwe will participate in a D&D one-shot. Composer Mick Gordon and fantasy author Isobelle Carmody are also among the announced guests.
