CD Projekt Red's acclaimed RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on August 31. The game, which has sold over 65 million copies since its 2015 release, is widely considered one of the best role-playing games of all time. It follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter, as he searches for his adopted daughter, Ciri, who is pursued by the mysterious Wild Hunt.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered Edition will be available on Cloud and Console until August 31. Other titles also departing the service on the same date include Another Crab’s Treasure, I Am Your Beast, Neon Abyss, and One Lonely Outpost, all available on Cloud, Console, and PC. NBA 2K26 will leave the service on September 6.
This departure comes as Xbox Game Pass adds new titles throughout August. The service will welcome Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27, a day-one release for the subscription. This new entry shifts from the stealth-focused gameplay of its predecessors to a more action-oriented experience, featuring parrying, stabbing, and slicing combat. Other new additions for August include Egging On, Vapor World: Over the Mind, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, Relooted, Starsand Island, Aerial_Knight’s DropShot, Blood Dungeon, and Young Suns, with Shelldiver arriving on September 1.
Xbox Game Pass offers multiple subscription tiers, including Essential, Premium, and Ultimate, providing access to a rotating library of games across Xbox, PC, and handheld platforms.
