CD Projekt has confirmed the global release times for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, with the game set to launch on September 29. The release is synchronized with the developer's home country, with a 12 PM CEST launch in Poland.
The remaster will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. It will be offered as a free upgrade for owners of the base game. Notably, The Witcher 3 will be available on Battle.net for the first time. Pre-purchases are available for the Nintendo Switch and Battle.net versions, as these are new platforms for the game. Existing versions on GOG, Steam, Epic, Xbox, and PlayStation will receive the remaster as an update, and these platforms will not support preloads.
Players can expect numerous enhancements, including improved visuals and performance, gameplay refinements, a revamped combat system, better traversal, updated monster behaviors, a revised skill tree, transmogrification options, an expanded photo mode, and new finishers. This release precedes the 2027 launch of "Songs of the Past," The Witcher 3's third expansion.
