Ubisoft has announced a two-month delay for Rayman Legends Retold, the remake of the acclaimed 2015 platformer Rayman Legends. The game, originally slated for an October 1st release, is now scheduled to launch on December 3rd.
The decision to postpone the release was shared by Ubisoft on the official Rayman social media channels. A statement explained that while the game has "officially gone gold," the studio wishes to "take extra time to make sure every detail gets the care it deserves."
Alongside the delay announcement, a new game overview trailer is slated for release on September 22nd. The developers expressed gratitude for the audience's patience.
Rayman Legends Retold aims to enhance the original 2015 title with improved visuals, support for 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, new collectibles, and updated rewards. Notably, the remake will also include a free, enhanced edition of the predecessor, Rayman Origins.
The remake is confirmed for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series S/X.
