The action RPG Undefeated: Genesis has released a new demo, allowing players to experience the fantasy of wielding superpowers on an alien planet. The game debuted a new trailer at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, showcasing protagonist Albert Haltree's abilities on the world of Voltissia.
Haltree awakens with a variety of superpowers, including flight, eye beams, energy orbs, and defensive barriers. The trailer demonstrates these powers in combat against mutated creatures that inhabit Voltissia. The game's narrative suggests these creatures are linked to a mysterious explosion that destroyed the planet's civilization 500 years prior.
Players will unlock new abilities as they progress, affecting combat, exploration, and movement. Combat is a mix of aerial and ground-based actions, featuring melee combos against diverse alien foes, including multi-limbed cyclops, crab-like monsters, and ape-like creatures.
The demo for Undefeated: Genesis is now available on Steam. The full game is slated for a 2027 release, and players are encouraged to wishlist it if they enjoy the demo experience.
