Viral Indie Hits Arctic Eggs, Mouthwashing, and No, I'm Not a Human Coming to Xbox

Publisher Critical Reflex has announced that three independently developed games that gained significant traction online over the past three years are set to launch on Xbox platforms. The titles include the physics-based cooking simulator Arctic Eggs, the unsettling survival narrative No, I'm Not a Human, and the cult horror game Mouthwashing.

Arctic Eggs, developed by The Water Museum, challenges players with cooking eggs in the Arctic environment using a complex physics system. The game extends beyond eggs, tasking players with frying various objects to feed city inhabitants and gain favor with a mythical figure known as the Saint of Six Stomachs. Arctic Eggs is available on Xbox Series X/S starting today, October 20, 2026.

No, I'm Not a Human places players in the role of a homeowner in an increasingly desolate world facing mysterious, human-like beings. The core gameplay involves identifying genuine humans to shelter and distinguishing impostors to protect the household. This title will release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027.

Mouthwashing, a horror game originally released in September 2024, is described as an exciting addition to the Xbox library. Set aboard a derelict space freighter, players must manage the remaining crew as they succumb to madness. Mouthwashing will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on October 29, 2026. IGN previously reviewed Mouthwashing, awarding it a 9 out of 10, and called it "grimy, uncomfortable, and incredibly compelling."

Critical Reflex is known for publishing distinctive and often viral indie games, including titles such as Militsioner and Buckshot Roulette.
