Fans of Wallace and Gromit can now purchase an official LEGO set celebrating the beloved animated duo. The 1,038-piece build, based on their appearance in the 1995 film Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave, features the pair riding their signature motorbike with an attached sidecar. This marks the first official LEGO set for the characters.
The set includes poseable figures of both Wallace and Gromit, with articulated limbs and Gromit's signature ear flaps. It also incorporates several Easter eggs referencing other Aardman Animations films, such as Wallace's crackers from "A Grand Day Out," a diamond from "The Wrong Trousers," and a ball of yarn from "A Close Shave." The film "A Close Shave" follows Wallace and Gromit as they investigate a livestock-theft ring and encounter Shaun the Sheep, with the red motorcycle playing a prominent role.
The Wallace & Gromit LEGO set is priced at $99.99 and is scheduled to ship on October 1, 2026. It is available for pre-order on the official LEGO website.
This set originates from the LEGO Ideas platform, a program where fans can submit their own building designs. Winning concepts are chosen to become official LEGO products. The creator of a winning set receives a percentage of net sales, complimentary copies of the set, and official credit for their design. The Wallace & Gromit set was the grand prize winner of the LEGO Ideas ‘90s Throwback – The Next Chapter competition, which focused on submissions inspired by iconic '90s media.
Other popular entries in the '90s Throwback competition included a Mr. Bean-themed set, which was the main runner-up, and other highly-voted designs based on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Forrest Gump," and "The Mighty Ducks."
In related Aardman Animations news, the studio recently unveiled the first trailer for its next project, "Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu," which appears to be inspired by "Don Quixote" and is slated for release on Disney Plus in 2027. Additionally, "Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom" is scheduled to debut on September 18, 2026.
