Warcraft III: Reforged has launched a new campaign titled 'Forsaken Kingdom,' marking the first new campaign content for the real-time strategy title in years. The update also introduces significant graphical improvements and quality-of-life enhancements for the Reforged version of the game.

Set in the aftermath of Lordaeron's fall, the 'Forsaken Kingdom' campaign includes a new prologue that explores the consequences of Arthas's actions in the original Warcraft III campaign. Blizzard states the campaign offers more than 30 hours of gameplay, incorporating new gameplay elements and substantial quality-of-life upgrades. A new neutral hero, the Forsaken Paladin, is also part of this update.

A notable addition is a new graphics mode for Warcraft III: Reforged, which aims to align the game's visual presentation more closely with its initial design direction. Further improvements include the ability to select up to 24 units at once and enhancements to the World Editor.

This content is now available for owners of Warcraft III: Reforged. The developer noted that while the game experienced some initial setbacks, this update represents a significant effort to improve the player experience and re-establish the game's direction.
