Warhorse Studios, the developer behind the medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, may have revealed the name of its next project. A new trademark filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for the phrase 'Kingdom Come: Salvation' was submitted on July 23rd. The filing includes a graphic featuring the name in Warhorse's characteristic font and lists "computer gaming software" and "entertainment services for matching users with computer games" under its goods and services.

The trademark was filed by Dana Lukajová, a patent attorney based in Prague, the same city as Warhorse Studios. While this is her only listed application on the EUIPO site, Warhorse confirmed in May that they were working on a new "Kingdom Come adventure," in addition to a Lord of the Rings RPG. The filing for 'Kingdom Come: Salvation' does not provide specific details about the game's content or setting. However, the departure from a numbered sequel like 'Kingdom Come Deliverance 2' could indicate a shift away from the story of protagonist Henry of Skalitz or a change in narrative focus. The series is set in 15th-century Bohemia, a period that saw significant events such as the Hussite Wars, which began around 1419 and involved religious schisms and conflicts over theological concepts like salvation, fitting with the potential new title.

Warhorse Studios has been contacted for comment.
