Invoke Studios has unveiled an extended gameplay demonstration for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, an upcoming single-player action RPG scheduled for release in 2027. The nearly 10-minute showcase, premiered during Gamescom Opening Night Live, highlights the game's combat, magic systems, and environments.

The gameplay demo features the protagonist, Kaatri, engaging various Dungeons & Dragons enemies through a blend of dark magic and melee combat. Kaatri's abilities include manipulating the environment and unleashing lightning spells. The game's official description details Kaatri as an experienced warrior who makes a pact with Tasha to find a lost individual. Players are encouraged to combine forbidden magic, spells, rituals, and otherworldly weapons to overcome obstacles, gain advantages, discover secrets, and defeat monsters.

Warlock is set to take players beyond the Mists of Darkon, a region described as ripe with danger, opportunity, and hidden power. The game is being developed by Invoke Studios, with Tricia Helfer voicing Kaatri and Maggie Robertson as Tasha, Kaatri's patron. Robertson is known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.

Warlock is planned for release on PC and consoles in 2027.
