Purchasing any single lord from the upcoming Lords of the End Times DLC for Total War: Warhammer will grant access to the colossal Immortal Empires campaign, which encompasses content from all three base games and a decade of development. This offer is available from September 24.
Unlocking the Immortal Empires Campaign
Regardless of whether players choose Boris, Thanquol, Nagash, or The Glottkin, they will receive the free Bretonnia faction, its core units, and four legendary lords: Louen Leoncouer, Alberic De Bordeleaux, The Fay Enchantress, and Repanse De Lyonesse. Nagash
Nagash is highlighted as the best value in terms of sheer content for Immortal Empires. Purchasing him grants access to units from across the entire undead roster, including those from the Tomb Kings, Vampire Coast, and Vampire Counts. Players also gain Neferata, a new Free-LC legendary lord who benefits from the Vampire Counts race rework, and the legendary hero Ulrika Magdova for the Vampire Counts campaign.
Boris Todbringer
Buying Boris Todbringer unlocks his Middenheim faction units, Emil Valgir as a hero, and the core Empire unit roster. This also grants access to the Empire's Free-LC content, which includes the legendary heroes Gotrek and Felix, the vampire hero Ulrika Magdova, and three wizards for the lore of life, shadow, and metal. While Boris is the only campaign exclusive to this purchase, the Empire is a versatile faction that allows confederation with other Empire legendary lords like Karl Franz, Elspeth Von Draken, and Volkmar the Grim.
Thanquol
Thanquol's DLC provides access to his units, Skreech Verminking as a hero, and the core Skaven unit roster. The Glottkin
Choosing The Glottkin unlocks their specific units, four legendary heroes, and the core Nurgle-focused Warriors of Chaos roster. The Free-LC for this purchase includes Harald Hammerstorm and Karanak, both legendary heroes. However, the Warriors of Chaos faction is noted for its less traditional playstyle, and they cannot confederate other Warriors of Chaos factions, limiting the ability to acquire additional legendary lords.
It is worth noting that players will only receive Free-LC content associated with the specific race they purchase. This model also applies to other DLC; for instance, buying Aislinn from Tides of Torment would grant Imrik and Alith Anar as Free-LC legendary lords for the High Elves.
