Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 Trailer Reveals 'Absolute Carnage'

IGN has exclusively revealed the first trailer for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3, a sequel director Scott Chambers describes as "absolute carnage." The film is slated for release in late January 2027.

The official synopsis details a grim future for the beloved characters. Fifteen years after Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit were captured by the Woozles Circus, they have been transformed into attractions in a traveling carnival. This twisted spectacle is managed by the enigmatic Karna, occult showman Shandor, and the immortal ringmaster Balthazar. Concurrently, Momo Milne, an orphan searching for her missing mother, traces her last known whereabouts to Woozles Ltd. With her friend Billie, Momo infiltrates the circus, taking a job among its performers.

As Momo and Billie delve deeper, they uncover disturbing secrets, including drugged half-human creatures, disappearances, and gruesome killings concealed behind the carnival's facade. Momo begins to suspect her mother's disappearance is connected to the circus's darkest mystery. Caught in a nightmare where fairy tales devolve into bloody reality, Momo must confront Pooh and his monstrous companions to uncover the truth before becoming the next victim.

Director Scott Chambers stated that Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 features significant practical effects, with "20 character deaths" filmed using real prosthetics, makeup, and gore effects. He emphasized that this installment is "bigger, bloodier and more ambitious" than its predecessors and plays a crucial role in the expanding "Poohniverse" narrative, serving as a major stepping stone toward an "Avengers-style crossover" titled Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.

Chambers also noted that the film will explore the origins of the characters' anger, damage, and vengeful nature, offering audiences a deeper understanding of their transformation. The sequel introduces a new character, Rabbit, voiced by Roger L. Jackson, known for his role in the Scream franchise. Chambers described Jackson's performance as giving Rabbit a "genuinely chilling presence."

The film's script was written by Richard Stanley, known for his work on Color Out of Space, Dust Devil, and Hardware. The cast includes Chambers and Stanley himself, playing Balthazar Von Woozle. Other cast members include Josephine Blazier, Kira Reed, Leo Harris, Zena Donnelly, and Harrison Davis. Prominent social media horror content creators Cris Parker and Slashertalk also appear in the film.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 is produced by Jagged Edge Productions and will be distributed by ITN Distribution. Stuart Alson, Nicole Holland, and Evgeny Lensky are credited as executive producers.
