Team Ninja announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 3. The Soulslike action game, which is set during China's Three Kingdoms era, originally released for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2023 and has since attracted over 5 million players. The Complete Edition was previously released on those platforms in 2024, and its upcoming Switch 2 version will include the base game and all three major DLC expansions: Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdon, and Upheaval in Jingxiang.
This edition also introduces new endgame content titled The Thousand-Mile Journey. This new content offers additional scenarios featuring characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, along with new weapon types such as cestuses, long swords, and whips. This endgame content is also planned for release on all previously supported platforms. .
Team Ninja has also detailed enhancements for the Complete Edition, including new difficulty settings, new stages, new Divine Beasts, and more challenging gameplay functions. Previously released collaboration DLC, which adds equipment and stages from Nioh 2, Naraka: Bladepoint, and Lies of P, will also be featured. Players who purchase the Switch 2 launch edition will receive the Baihu Armor, Zhuque Armor, and Qinglong Armor sets, which were part of the game's initial launch bonuses. Additionally, Switch 2 players will receive the exclusive Xuanwu Armor set.
The Switch 2 port comes ahead of Team Ninja's next project, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, which is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
