World of Warcraft: Forever is set to launch on November 4 with significant class balance adjustments, including major reworks to Rogue and Paladin talents. However, players should not expect further substantial changes for at least a month, according to Blizzard's launch patch notes.

Blizzard stated that the extensive data gathered during the game's month-long beta was used to "get everything tuned to a reasonable place" for launch. The developer has indicated that, aside from critical bug fixes and addressing extreme outliers, significant balance adjustments will be withheld until after the initial raid releases next month. "Once we have sufficient data from players leveling past 30 and engaging in a wide range of content, we expect that we will do a large tuning pass based on our data," the company wrote.

With Forever's three launch raids scheduled to open on December 9, this means there will be a period of over a month without major class tuning. Blizzard emphasized that this launch state is intended as a "starting point," with ongoing class development planned for years to come, mirroring the original game's evolution since 2004.

In an interview with GameSpot, Blizzard expressed its long-term commitment to Forever, aiming for updates over the next 10-20 years. The company plans to release major content updates every four months and has teased future controller support that could allow the MMORPG to be played on various devices.

Beyond class balance, Blizzard also revealed plans to improve the game's controversial layering system, address potential issues with server population, and implement changes to racial abilities alongside the announced class adjustments.
