Microsoft is set to implement another price increase on its Xbox consoles beginning August 1. The company announced the changes on Xbox Wire, confirming that the 512 GB model of the Xbox Series S will see a $100 price jump, bringing its cost to $500. The 1 TB model of the Xbox Series X will experience a $150 price increase, raising its retail price to $800.
In conjunction with these price adjustments, Microsoft will also be discontinuing the 2 TB versions of its Xbox consoles. This marks the second significant price adjustment for Xbox consoles in less than a year, following a previous increase in October 2025.
