How to Digitize Physical Discs

The system is designed to automatically claim a digital license upon reading the disc, a process refined through recent insider feedback. If the digital license is not automatically claimed, players can manually initiate the process by pressing the Start button and selecting "Claim digital license." An informational pop-up will appear the first time a license is claimed, but subsequent claims will be faster.
For those looking to digitize multiple games, disabling the console's automatic disc launch feature can save time. This setting can be found under Devices & Connections > Disc. Disabling this prevents the console from attempting to open a game each time a disc is inserted, streamlining the claiming process.
It is important to note that the claimed digital license is not permanently tied to a player's account. The license can expire or be revoked if the physical disc is used on another console.
