Xbox players can experience a selection of seven games for free this weekend as part of the Free Play Days promotion, which runs until Sunday, October 11. The lineup includes popular titles like the extraction shooter ARC Raiders, the comedic sci-fi sequel High On Life 2, and the survival horror experience S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
While two of the featured games require an Xbox Game Pass subscription, five are available to all Xbox players. ARC Raiders, developed by Embark Studios, allows players to team up to scavenge for supplies in a hostile, machine-filled world. This free weekend coincides with the launch of the game's significant Frozen Trail update, which introduces a new map, enemies, and other content.
High On Life 2 continues the irreverent first-person shooter formula with talking alien weapons and intergalactic combat. For those seeking a darker experience, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl plunges players into the dangerous Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, where they must survive mutants, rival scavengers, and environmental hazards. This title recently received its Update 2.0, enhancing performance and immersion.
The promotion also features Little Nightmares III, a puzzle-adventure game filled with terrifying creatures, and Rogue Waters, a turn-based pirate roguelite with ship combat.
