Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now access Beast of Reincarnation, a new action RPG from Game Freak, the studio behind Pokémon. The game is available as a day-one release on the service. Beast of Reincarnation places players in a post-apocalyptic futuristic Japan as a young woman and her dog companion, Emma and Koo, battling robotic golems and corrupted creatures while seeking to save the world.
The game has received a mixed critical reception. Polygon's review noted its "breathtaking action, powered by rich RPG systems" but stated that its "identity is buried under unrefined ideas borrowed from some of the decade’s best games."
