Microsoft has revealed the initial lineup of games heading to Xbox Game Pass throughout September, featuring seven new titles across various platforms and subscription tiers. The additions include a notable day-one release and several games accessible to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

On September 1, "Shelldiver" will be available on cloud, console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Premium members. "Speedrunners 2: King of Speed" follows on September 3, playable via cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and is included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The service will see "Dice a Million" join on September 4, accessible on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC, as part of Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass.

A major addition arrives on September 8 with "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War," which will be available for cloud, console, and PC players subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. This title represents a significant get for the service, particularly for fans of competitive shooter games.

Further expanding the library, "The Royal Writ" will be playable on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC starting September 10. It is included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.

"Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage" is also set to arrive on September 10, accessible via cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Concluding the initial wave, "RuneScape: Dragonwilds" will be added on September 15, available on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and is included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.

While the new additions bolster the Game Pass library, some titles will be departing the service. "Cyberpunk 2077" is slated for removal, leading a wave of other games that will no longer be available on Game Pass this month.
