Surprise has arrived for Xbox Game Pass subscribers: two unannounced titles have been added to the catalog. Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition and Brews and Bastards are now playable through the service, and they were not listed in Microsoft's latest Game Pass line-up. In the same update, Microsoft confirmed that five games will be leaving the service in the coming weeks.
Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition is a remastered version of the acclaimed puzzle-platformer, following Six as she tries to escape The Maw, a strange underwater vessel inhabited by a host of odd residents. The original game found strong critical praise on release, with Eurogamer's Edwin Evans-Thirlwell calling it a 'masterpiece of meat and malice'.
Brews and Bastards, described by developer Mune Studio as intoxicating, is a dungeon crawler overflowing with action-packed combat, potent brews and outlandish bosses. Players must choose an inebriated hero and press through hordes of drunken demons as they search for the stolen Brew Stone.
Five titles are leaving the service in the coming weeks: Neon White, Road 96, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures - Merry and Mischievous Edition, and The Ascent.
These additions sit alongside recent updates like Dome Keeper and other recent Game Pass arrivals, reinforcing Microsoft's ongoing effort to expand the catalog while some titles are removed. For the complete roster and the latest changes, readers can consult our Xbox Game Pass guide.
