Xbox Game Pass subscribers will see nine games removed from the service in October, a notable decrease from September's 18 departures. Among the titles leaving are highly regarded games such as "A Plague Tale: Requiem," "Evil West," and "Pacific Drive."
Microsoft typically announces new additions to Game Pass at the beginning of the month, and simultaneously confirms which titles are departing. This October, players will have a limited time to experience these games before they become unavailable on the service.
"A Plague Tale: Requiem," a critically acclaimed narrative-driven adventure, is among the most significant departures. "Evil West," a third-person shooter praised for its monster-slaying action and rated 7/10, will also be removed. "Pacific Drive," a unique roguelite driving game that combines suspenseful atmosphere with mystery and survival elements, is another notable loss.
Other games set to leave Xbox Game Pass on October 15th include "The Casting of Frank Stone," a spin-off from the "Dead by Daylight" universe, and "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33," which is also noted as one of the best games of 2025. Subscribers can purchase any of these games at a 20% discount before they are removed from the Game Pass library.
September saw a substantial number of games leave the service, including major titles like "The Witcher 3," "Cyberpunk 2077," "Sifu," and "Frostpunk 2."
