Xbox Game Pass is set to receive its second wave of titles for August 2026, introducing a diverse lineup to its Ultimate tier. Headlining the additions is "Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy," which promises a departure from the stealth-focused gameplay of its predecessors.
Instead of emphasizing stealth, "Resonance" is described as primarily action-focused, incorporating mechanics such as a parry button and finishing moves, drawing a parallel to action-adventure titles with a unique thematic element. This new entry in the Plague Tale series offers players a different experience within its established world.
Alongside the new Plague Tale game, "Blood Dungeon" is also joining the service. This title is the latest solo project from Mark Essen, known for his work on "Nidhogg." "Blood Dungeon" is characterized as a roguelike experience that blends elements of "Pac-Man" with the intensity of "Vampire Survivors." The game is described as a mash-up of these distinct gameplay styles.
