Originally conceived as a two-week project for the Creepy Clicker Horror Game Jam 2026, the concept has been expanded into a full release, scheduled for PC via Steam in early 2027.
The game's premise centers on a protagonist captured and thrown into a monster-filled dungeon. To escape, they must strike a bargain with their captor: pay an ever-increasing blood debt or forfeit their life. Your Debt Is Paid is designed with a retro aesthetic, aiming to evoke the feel of a forgotten cartridge game from the '90s. This visual style is blended with dark fantasy themes, encouraging players to experiment with various build combinations to develop powerful warriors.

Defeating enemies yields Blood currency, which can be used to enhance the character's strength or to pay down the titular debt.
