The upcoming limited-time event for Pokémon Pokopia will feature the popular Pokémon Zorua. Titled Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest, the event is set to begin on July 19. Players can participate in the contest by visiting any rebuilt Pokémon Center within the game, or by joining other players in their worlds or on Cloud Island.
This event follows a previous contest that introduced the mythical Pokémon Jirachi. While Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest will not introduce new Pokémon, it promises special in-game prizes for participants, including a trophy for habitat decoration. Past events, such as Bulbasaur's jump rope contest, have offered rewards like berries and PokéMetal.
Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest will run from July 19 at 5:00 a.m. local time until July 27 at 4:59 a.m. Following this event, Pokémon Pokopia is scheduled to release its first paid expansion, Bubbly Basin. The game, which launched on March 5 for the Nintendo Switch 2, has been recognized as a highly-rated title, though some found its gameplay loop to be somewhat grindy.
