Scattered throughout Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake are 100 Gold Skulltulas, a collectible that plays a crucial role in rescuing a cursed family in Kakariko Village. The family, transformed into Skulltulas by a curse, can only be freed by collecting these tokens. As players gather them, they can be turned in for increasingly valuable rewards.

Gold Skulltula Rewards

Turning in Gold Skulltulas to the afflicted family in Kakariko Village yields several useful items. The first five rewards are given for every 10 tokens collected, up to 50. After 50 tokens, no further rewards are given until all 100 are found.

  • 10 Gold Skulltulas: Adult's Wallet (holds up to 500 rupees)
  • 20 Gold Skulltulas: Echo Gem (helps detect nearby Gold Skulltulas)
  • 30 Gold Skulltulas: Giant's Wallet (holds up to 1,000 rupees)
  • 40 Gold Skulltulas: 20 Bombchus
  • 50 Gold Skulltulas: Piece of Heart
  • 100 Gold Skulltulas: Unlimited gold rupees (given by the Restored Rich Man)

The Echo Gem, received after collecting 20 tokens, is particularly helpful for locating the remaining Skulltulas.
